Verdict.
Mercedes have incorporated
some very sophisticated safety features in the new Sprinter. A new
adaptive ESP system has improved the overall stability of the van
through corners and under braking. Mercedes have refined the Sprinter
and the result is a smooth gear change, good handling, responsive
steering and an ultra modern dashboard layout. Everything you would
expect really, but we still think the 311 is underpowered and the price
is pitched unrealistically high in a competitive market. After all the
new sprinter is good but it's not that good.
