Take Electric Avenue
Modec, the UK producers of zero emmission Commercial Vehicles are set to make an impact at this years Commercial Vehicle at the NEC Birmingham.

The company intends to display three vehicles of it's light truck in dropside and box configurations(as displayed left).
The vans have a range of 100 miles on one charge. They also have a payload approaching 2 tonnes and so are being considered to be a serious alternative to more conventional commercial vehicles. The commercial vehicle show in April will also coincide with the 1st anniversary of Modec at their Coventry factory.
Visitors to the show will have the opportunity to drive a mixture of short and long wheelbase and dropside vehicles on a specially designed route around the NEC venue, which will reflect apparently the urban envoiroment that the vehicles have been designed for (hmmm can't wait to see this!). Bookings for this no doubt popular feature can be made at the Modec stand.
Hildon Mineral Water, London have just taken delivery of their first vehicle - a box van with raised floor and roof which will be primarily be used for the delivery of bottled water within the London area. The vehicle is currently exempt from the London Congestion Charge.
